Main inspiration derives from the understanding of the true meaning of accessory. Three key words to our success are decoration, comfort and sex-appeal.

We believe that accessory is a fundamental decorative item of clothing that reinvents whatever the person is wearing, adding an accessory can change an entire look.

Design ideas for famous GaMa waist belts originated from a notion of a corset. A lot of research has been carried out to find the true purpose of the historic garment. It was originally designed to be worn to mold and shape the torso into a desired shape for aesthetic or medical purposes. The most common use of corsets is to slim the body and make it conform to a fashionable silhouette. For women this most frequently emphasizes a sexy curvy figure, by reducing the waist, and thereby exaggerating the bust and hips.

Before the products are distributed for sale all samples are tested for at least two weeks to reach the desired quality control level. Here at GaMa we think comfort to be a major ‘wellbeing’ factor and it is our duty to take it into consideration.

Wholesaling

All of GaMa products are of limited edition. Our objective is to make no more than 500 product units per design so that individuality remains. We exclusively wholesale our products to private boutiques and specialty shops. We like to establish new relationships with clients, big or small, and therefore are flexible about the minimum quantity orders. We are happy to organise meetings for new clients to view our collection. Our goal is to provide our consumers with a high quality, unique product.

Galina graduated from London College of Fashion after successfully completing Product Design Development Course for Fashion Industries- specialising in accessories. She exhibited her work in Graduate Fashion Week 2005 as a representative of London College of Fashion and fellow students. Galina was also rewarded a ‘Guild of Master Craftsmen Award’ for her achievements in designing and making.
